But today, we had a mission...DEWORMING!! Dollar actually seemed pretty happy to see me, and left his girlfriend with no problems to follow me into the coral. Yeah! Echo on the other hand, was not happy that I took her boyfriend away. It also helped that I had some corn-on-the-cob to entice Dollar. Hehe.
He happily munched on his corn while I tied him up and went to go get his deworming stuff ready. And then I almost blew a gasket. Why? Oh, because someone decided to take apart my English bridle. FULLY! Aaahh!! So needless to say, that while I grabbed his deworming stuff, I grabbed my bridles as well (English and Western) and put them with my stuff to go in my car. Urg...
Once I had everything ready, I got ready to do battle with him. Since I had to give him his heaves meds by mouth last year, he doesn't like anything shoved into his mouth. Especially medicine. Sorry Old Man. I did have to fight with him a little bit, as he was being a bit of a brat, but in the end we did get it in. Or most of it. He decided to turn his at the last little bit and got some on his face. That should teach him for not taking everything. Lol.
Can you really resist that face??
Treats
See what I mean about getting dewormer on his face?? Lol. He also doesn't look too impressed.
